Having already attended two other Bible schools, in August of 2006, I (Jordan Roose) moved down here to the Charlotte area from Michigan, to finish up my undergraduate education at Southern Evangelical Bible College and Seminary in Matthews, NC. That fall I started True-Blue Window Cleaning as a means of putting myself through school. It was the spring semester of 2008 that I met my wife Keren, who came home from doing missions in Thailand to attend the same Bible College. Our deep love for Christ and the rich fellowship it provided for us, soon led to a deep love for each other. After getting engaged, Keren came on board as my first full-time worker. Together as a team, we began to invest our time and energy in the growth of True-Blue. That spring, our business started to blow up (in a good sense). I laugh now when I think of our humble beginnings… I actually drove a 1996 Oldsmobile Aurora (a luxury sedan with leather interior) as my business vehicle. I put magnets on the side, a ladder on the roof, equipment in the trunk, and a pressure washer in the passenger seat. Everyone has to start somewhere, right? Looking back it’s hard to believe where we’ve come from, but our faith in God, our hard work, and our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction has paid off.
I graduated with a B.A. in Religious Studies in May of 2008, and then Keren and I were married on July 26th, 2008. Keren worked along side me until she was seven months pregnant with our first son. On June 5th, 2009, we were blessed with the happy, healthy homebirth of our first son, Zion David. Then, on April 18th, 2011, we were blessed with another amazing homebirth of our second son, Israel Joseph. On July 13th, 2013, we welcomed our third son, Judah Joshua, into the world, through another safe and unforgettable homebirth. And last but not least, on April 7th, 2016, our fourth son, our little treasure-boy Salem Daniel was also born at home. We have so much to be thankful for. God has truly blessed us in so many ways and it’s our desire to be faithful stewards of His blessing.
